The library of the Forestry Research Centre was established in 1922, year of foundation of the Experimental Station in Firenze. It was transferred to the headquarters of Arezzo.
The library, specialized in forestry subjects, has a wealth of books and documents of 8,000 volumes and 700 periodicals. 150 of them are active. The retrospective consistency of periodicals is high. The library covers the subject areas of silviculture: forestry, ecology, botany and genetics, biometrics, trees farming, wood, products, management, protection of nature, forest policy.
The library supplies the service of consultation within, information, advice and literature search. Access is free during opening hours or by appointment. A copying service of of library materials and documents is avaible in compliance with the legislation on copyright.
